A truly magical trip, includes a sumptuous seafood barbeque meal. We enjoy a superb glass of wine, with cheese and crackers on departure as we pass the beautiful mangroves and Muslim Cham fishing villages.
The children wave frantically and scream “hello hello” at the top of their voices, as we slowly cruise by. As we arrive at the mouth of the Kampong Buy Estuary at the South China Sea, we gently beach our vessel DIVA (once belonging the King Norodom Sihanouk) onto a beautiful sand bar. Equipped with a fully stocked bar, cushioned seats and a bathroom, DIVA is the pride and joy of Kampot.
Our seafood barbeque is layed out before our eyes as we toast to our adventures, enjoying another glass of wine, as we enjoy watching the sun sink into the horizen. Local Khmer desserts and a tropical fruit platter follow as Egrets gracefully fly into the sunset. The cruise departs outside Riki Tiki Tavi Hotel (river front) at 4pm everyday (booking required).
